Waste incineration plants
The importance of waste incineration grows because the energy contained in waste is increasingly put to practical use and less and less waste is deposited in landfills. The energy released during the water-steam cycle is used for the combined generation of heat and power.

The new legal framework with regard to the sewage sludge ordinance and fertiliser legislation is fundamentally changing the disposal of sewage sludge. The future belongs to the thermal recycling of sewage sludge in mono-incineration plants – especially when it comes to phosphorus recovery.
