During the new construction of a flue gas desulphurisation plant for the REA Dětmarovice power plant in the Czech Republic, Mitsubishi Power Europe GmbH commissioned us with the material procurement, prefabrication and rubber lining of the entire piping system.
It was a very demanding project. Within a short period of time, we had to fabricate very large (dimensions up to DN 1700) components. In particular, coating the interior of the spools with a rubber lining, which was part of the scope of the order, posed a serious challenge with regard to the surface quality of the welding seams. Working closely with all partners, we managed to continuously supply the construction site with partial deliveries. That was the only way to ensure a smooth assembly process without delays.
